MY WORLD CLASS
At Berlage Lyceum, we offer education that prepares students as effectively as possible for their role in the society of the future. We are developing a new program that strengthens the connection between bilingual education, internationalization, and UNESCO values. Central to this is helping students grow in independence and responsibility.
Starting in the 2023–2024 school year, we are launching a new profile class:
My World Class – A 3-Year International ‘brugklas’
Are you someone who loves a challenge? Someone who is curious about the world around you?
Then My World Class is the perfect class for you!
Over the course of three years, you’ll learn through inquiry-based education. During your lessons, you’ll explore big questions about today’s world. These questions are directly linked to subject content, making your education more meaningful. We stay connected to your everyday life, but also look beyond borders.
You’ll receive most of your lessons in English, and the brugklas lasts three years. That means you'll have the same classmates for three years. After that, you'll move on to the educational track (MAVO, HAVO, or VWO) that best fits your development in year 4.
